If you are already using PrEP
Perform tests in Potent every three months.
If you have had syphilis in the past, take a VDRL test in a private laboratory before each visit to Potent.
If you want to use PrEP
Step 1 - In a private laboratory, you need to do the following tests:
- Serum creatinine and eGFR;;
- If you have had syphilis in the past: VDRL test
- Anti-HBsAg total antibodies - only if you have been vaccinated against hepatitis B or have been hospitalized, and you do not have medical documentation about it;
- Anti-HBs antigen total antibodies, Anti-HBsAg total antibodies, and HBc total antibodies - If you have not been vaccinated, or you do not know if you have been vaccinated.
In 2002, obligatory vaccination against Hepatitis B was introduced in Serbia for all newborns, and since 2006, for children in the sixth grade. The elderly are vaccinated only if they have done the immunization on their own initiative.
Step 2 - get vaccinated (skip if you have a positive HBsAt result)
Before you come to Potent, get the first dose of the vaccine::

Step 3 - Schedule testing and come to Potent
Bring your lab results with you
We will carry out tests and a medical examination
You will receive a medical report and be directed to a pharmacy where you can buy PrEP.
The cost of PrEP is around 5500 RSD.
Note: The results of the analyzes and the discussion with the doctor may show that for some reasons you cannot use PrEP, that you need to wait for some time and do additional analyzes or medical examinations.
