Regular eye exams, wearing the right lenses and taking care of your eyes give you a better chance of keeping your vision good. This will improve your quality of life and reduce the risk of accidents such as falls, which can lead to broken bones. Ask your ophthalmologist how regularly you should have your eyes tested.
STAYING HAPPY IN OLDER YEARS
Many people living with HIV are satisfied with their quality of life in old age. Keeping active, socializing and joining clubs or groups can improve well-being and reduce feelings of isolation and loneliness.
